The Med Surg and ICU float professional nurse performs and coordinates nursing care to patients in multiple specialized nursing units requiring advanced knowledge and skills. He/She may function in the shift coordinator charge role as needed, and make independent decisions in solving complex patient care problems involving the analysis of multiple sources of data, identifying alternative possibilities as to the nature of a health care problem and selecting appropriate treatment. The float nurse is self-motivated and has effective communication, organization and prioritization skills.

斯瓦特RN

The SWAT team is comprised of an elite group of critical care nurses who act as first responders to all codes, rrt, strokes and patient falls. They provide guidance and mentoring to staff throughout the hospital. They are required to quickly adapt to acute changes in patient status, and perform complex interventions and treatments. These nurses are selfdirected, goal oriented and assertive. Their certifications include TNCC, ACLS, CCRN, and Helipad Safety.

The Med Surg and ICU Per Diem float RN performs nursing care to patients in multiple specialized nursing units. They are paid hourly and function as a staff nurse, providing high quality patient care. The position offers self-scheduling and autonomy.

LPN

The Med-Surg LPN serves as support staff to the inpatient units and performs direct patient care within his/her scope of practice. This includes medication administration and patient observation. Two years of acute care experience is preferred.

科大

The Unit Support Tech (科大) serves as support staff to the inpatient units. The primary job function includes safety companion and patient transport, and support of the inpatient units by assisting with patient ADLs, 生命体征, I&O's. The 科大 will assist the unit with floor stock necessary to meet operational needs. The 科大 position offers an introduction into nursing.
